Meet Our Owners

Megan, Peter & Adrianna

Megan Montgomery, Barn Manager at Threefold Stables

Megan Montgomery

Barn Manager

Megan is a registered Emergency Department nurse, devoted wife, and mother of four. She currently works as an ED nurse in Gretna, Virginia, while also homeschooling two of her children alongside her husband, Peter, who serves as the business manager.

After Megan's battle with breast cancer in 2024, she and Peter felt called to build a life that remained firmly centered on Jesus while creating a slower, more intentional pace for their family — one rooted in hard work, stewardship, and simple living. She believes some of life's greatest lessons are learned through caring for animals, working the land, and building meaningful relationships.

As Barn Manager, Megan is excited to oversee the day-to-day operations alongside her children. She looks forward to creating a place where families can learn, grow, and experience the love of Christ through education, fellowship, and the many ministry opportunities the farm will provide.

Peter Montgomery, Business Manager at Threefold Stables

Peter Montgomery

Business Manager

Peter is a licensed electrician whose passion has always been building things that serve others. After graduating from Lehigh Career & Technical Institute with a certificate in Electrical Technology, he began his career as an electrician in Pennsylvania. He later attended Word of Life Bible Institute in New York, where he developed a deeper passion for ministry and serving others. Following Bible college, Peter spent several years working at Word of Life as Lead Electrician, helping oversee the maintenance and operation of the campus. He later served as Facilities Director at Camp Monadnock, responsible for the camp's buildings, grounds, utilities, and infrastructure. Today, Peter is the Operations Manager for an electrical contractor in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Along the way, Peter has remained actively involved in ministry, teaching Sunday School, serving in his local church, and investing in the lives of others. Although his career has been outside the horse industry, he has always enjoyed the outdoors, agriculture, and creating places where people can come together. Building Threefold Stables combined many of the passions God had placed on his heart.

As Business Manager, Peter oversees business operations, customer relations, facility management, finances, and the continued growth of the farm. His goal is to ensure every aspect of the farm reflects excellence while giving horse owners confidence that their horses are cared for as if they were our own. His prayer is that the farm will be a place where relationships are built, lives are encouraged, and God is glorified through the way people are served.

Adrianna Moon, Head Trainer at Threefold Stables

Adrianna Moon

Head Trainer

Adrianna is our head riding instructor, and her passion for horses started at a very young age. She began riding at a hunter jumper barn, Vineyard Farms, at the age of eight, and at sixteen she got her own horse and was instantly in love. After high school she moved to New York and attended Word of Life Bible Institute, where she was part of the horse team. After two years of working their summer camp and teaching lessons, she decided the equestrian life was the career for her.

She attended Meredith Manor Equestrian Centre in Waverly, WV, earning her Training Level 1, Riding Master 3, and equine massage therapy certifications. She then moved to Staunton, VA, where she worked for two years at Shenandoah Farms, an Akhal-Teke breeding and training facility. In 2020, upon the closing of the farm, Adrianna went back to school to become a Radiographic Technologist, continuing to grow her equestrian portfolio by teaching lessons at Mounted Blessing LLC in Lewisburg, WV.

In 2024 Adrianna married her best friend, Trae, and moved to Hurt, VA. She quickly found CULU Equestrian in Gretna, VA, where she rode, trained, and taught the beginner riding program. Teaching is her passion, and watching people learn to love horses as much as she does is her greatest joy.
